How VesnaGuard Works

VesnaGuard is a user-initiated emergency alert system designed to help individuals quickly notify trusted contacts during urgent situations.

1️⃣ User Registration

Users voluntarily install the VesnaGuard mobile application and complete registration inside the app.

2️⃣ Add Trusted Contacts

Users add selected emergency contacts (family, friends, guardians, etc.) inside the application.

VesnaGuard does not send messages to random or purchased contact lists.

3️⃣ Triggering an SOS

When the user feels unsafe or needs help, they manually trigger an SOS alert within the app as follows:

(a). With the phone probably off, user presses  the power button four (4) times. He/she then observes a little vibration, and then presses the power button four (4) times again. Then more vibrations, signalling SOS has been triggered.

(b). For Check-in triggering: User goes to Settings => Default timer length => select default time => Click Save.

      Then on home page and when neccessary, you just tap " Check-in". Countdown begins. At the end of countdown if not cancelled by tapping "Check-in" again, the SOS will be sent to trusted contacts.

(c). You may also tap the "SOS' button on the home page and the sos will be immediately sent to yoir trusted contcts. 

VesnaGuard is a personal safety mobile application developed by Vesna Integrated Limited.

The application sends transactional emergency SMS alerts to user-selected trusted contacts when:

1. A user manually triggers the SOS alert as described above, or
   
   

2. A scheduled safety check-in expires without user confirmation of his or her safety.
   
   

Messages are sent strictly for safety purposes and contain the user’s emergency notification and last known location.

All SMS recipients are added voluntarily by the user inside the application.

VesnaGuard does not send bulk SMS campaigns, marketing messages, OTP resale, promotional content, or unsolicited messages.

SMS messages are triggered only by user action or user-configured safety settings

The alert may include:

• A predefined emergency message
  
  

• The user's location (if enabled)

4️⃣ SMS Notification

SMS notifications are sent ONLY to the trusted contacts selected by the registered user.

VesnaGuard does not send:

• Marketing SMS
  
  

• Promotional messages
  
  

• Bulk unsolicited messages
  
  

All SMS messages are strictly emergency notifications initiated by the user.
